On October 8th, I picked up my "new to me" 2008 Toyota Tundra. Everyone treated me so well from the time I stepped onto the lot. I live about 400km away from the dealership so specifically chose Vandermeer as they had the vehicle I wanted. When I got my new vehicle home, I realized I had an issue with my tires. I contacted Mike regarding my issue and he forwarded my concern to Justin. Within 2 hours of my original phone call regarding my issue, we had a plan of action and a solution. I couldn't be happier with the service I have received with my purchase and even after. Thank you to everyone for making this process go so well.

I took our Matrix for an oil change on Monday and received excellent service. I took our Sienna for an oil change on Tuesday and received more than excellent service! Aaron our service advisor was definitely exceptional. The technician had discovered the belts were showing on several of our tires and Aaron took me out to the service bay and pointed out the problems which we had no idea about. Between he and Liz who was also exceptional, they were able to come up with a used set of tires for our Sienna to get us through until we change to our snows. As we have done with every Toyota which we have always had Toyotas for over 25 years, we keep them until they die which has never been less than 400,000 km. Our Sienna is approaching that end, so not having to buy brand new tires yesterday was fabulous! Dave and I were so impressed with Aaron and Liz. We've been going to Vandermere's since we moved here in 1991 and will definitely continue! Thanks

My Toyota is this first car I have purchased from Vandermeer, and I wish I had done it years ago. From purchasing it to servicing it, it has been a great experience. Everyone is very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I look forward to dealing with this dealership for many years to come.
After dealing with your organization for 12 years now, I can say that I continue to be impressed.
Your service team is second to none. Friendly, cheerful, outstanding service is obviously their mission.
They always exceed my expectations and my recent service visit was no exception. They got me booked in immediately and finished earlier than estimated. Vandermeer Toyota obviously fosters an environment that allows the staff to perform at their best. As always, it’s a pleasure to deal with them. I am now 75 years of age and have dealt with many dealerships over the years. I can honestly say that none has ever performed at the level of your team.

As always....Vandermeer took care of the problem with my new car immediately, and covered the expense. All the more reason why we keep coming back, refer everyone we can, and look forward to putting our son into his first car in a couple years...which will obviously be the toyota brand.

About 10 years ago, me and my wife came to your dealership to test drive a used Toyota echo. When we arrived it was near closing time . I was having some difficulties with the truck I was driving. When I pulled into the lot I opened the hood to try and fix the issue so we could get home. My wife went in to set up the test drive. Mr. Vandermeer came out to see what I was up to, and I explained my predicament. He instructed me to go on the test drive with my wife and had one of the mechanics pull my truck in the garage and fixed my truck so that I could get home. He did this without expecting anything in return. I call that CUSTOMER SERVICE ! I knew then that this dealership was about more than just making profit. We did not purchase that car but have since bought two new vehicles.

Having recently been in the market for a new vehicle, I travelled to Vandermeer Toyota where the sales staff and the overall experience was absolutely exceptional - nothing short of exemplary! I dealt with Michael Boot, the sales person, and he was knowledgeable, sincere, and in no way pushy. He answered all my questions and followed up in a timely and professional fashion. The sales manager Derek was equally personable, and made me feel genuinely important and a valued customer. I have nothing but positive comments about this experience, and I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone who is considering purchasing at Toyota. In our present day, it is difficult to find people of this calibre who obviously treat their customers fairly and with such courtesy. Keep up the great work!
To say I was amazed when I saw my Rav yesterday is a bit of an understatment, and I'm still amazed looking at the Rav this morning and she's running fantastic too! Many thanks to you for sorting out and ordering and arranging everything needed to just about rebuild my vehicle. They were a little hard to see out in the bright sun, but it was amazing to see the before and after shots of just the gas tank. I'm surprised it was still holding gas. I had a great buying experience with Vandermeer Toyota. Barry was absolutely the most patient salesperson I have ever met. Allowed me time to decide what to do. Allowed me space to try out anything and everything I wanted. Never pressured me and I am enjoying my Toyota Corolla. Had originally went to Vandermeer to try out a used Avalon but in the end bought what I needed not what I wanted. Smart shopping. Everyone there is so nice and friendly. Thanks again for making a difficult decision easier. I will definitely recommend Vandermeer Toyota to my family and friends and I will be a returning customer!

Glad I could get my car washed while I test drove a bunch of vehicles last Saturday. Derek as always did an outstanding job and the car was ready the day after I bought it. In fast I could've had it the same day. Excellent dealership that I have dealt with since 1993, almost exclusively for Toyota products!
I was delighted with the whole service experience. Diane made sure that I needed to change the spark plugs (more than 196,000 km). Aaron pointed out the advantage of having the injectors cleaned at the same time. The work was done on time and I was asked if the shuttle could come and pick me up to get my car when the service was complete. Way to go!

I had been looking for a Toyota 4Runner for a while and finally I found one that fit the bill and was kept in great condition at Vandermeer. Mike Boot was great to deal with from beginning to end. Mike has a ton of knowledge about the vehicles on the lot seeing he had worked on them for years in a previous roll of a Service Technician. Having a former service technician as a product advisor is great for piece of mind. He was able to tell me everything i wanted to know about t...he engine along with how the service history looked for this 4Runner. He advised me of some tips for the vehicle and let me know about an extended warranty Toyota offered. I got the warranty and the vehicle at a great price. Mike was excellent to deal with, thanks for staying late the couple of nights and fitting me into the schedule! The employees are what make Vandermeer Toyota a great place to purchase a vehicle. We absolutely love the 4Runner. As of right now (3000km later) we have zero complaints regarding the vehicle. Sarah has gotten used to the additional size and the additional cargo volume has served us well through the summer.
We are also very pleased with our experience dealing with Joe Anderson and the team at Vandermeer. Most people point out that visitng a dealership can be a frustrating and daunting task. Sarah typically is happy to stay away from the process altogether. We are quick to point out that that was not our experience dealing with you. Barry Wood was the reason I bought from Vandemeer. I had never met Barry before and even though my wife’s family is from Cobourg and have bought many vehicles from this dealership Barry was someone we had never dealt with before. We live in Kingston but I was so displeased with the pricing and dickering that took place there that I went out of my way to deal with Vandemeer and it was so professionally handled that I took the time to come down and buy from them. Barry was amazing and did not play games. We negotiated professionally and he respected my rational for my choice of pricing. As well all his communication was professional and quick. I am very busy and normally chose to do my car shopping by using online tools and via e-mail and Barry excelled at this (most sales associates do not). Dealership Experience/2011 RAV4 Problem Details: You guys down there in Scarborough need to know how very fortunate you are to have a dealer of this calibre in your organisation. I am a long time owner (30 plus years), I drive a 2011 Rav4 (230,000kms). I had a burned out licence plate light bulb. In Cobourg on business I passed this dealership and pulled in to get in replaced. I was welcomed like a was a regular, they dropped what they were doing to look after me, and put in the new bulb; total cost $2.25 cents.
It was all over in less than 15 minutes. Totally impressed. Kudos to the crew at Vandermeer, you are lucky to have them on your team. Best of the Best. Had a corolla for 9 years loved it , had 190,000klm. on it , only spent $ 250 for repairs. So of course we went back to the same dealership and bought the same make and colour. our old one is being driven by our grandson now. Best car we ever had hope this one will be the as good as the 2005. We did not even consider another vehicle.
